Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Reverse engineer complex software and firmware targets, including Windows/Linux binaries and embedded systems.
- Develop and apply automated reverse-engineering, binary-analysis, emulation, and dynamic-analysis tools.
- Characterize target-system protocols, interfaces, functionality, code flow, and data flow.
- Perform vulnerability research, vulnerability weaponization, exploit development, payload development, and exploit mitigation.
- Develop offensive cyber solutions for challenging targets in multidisciplinary teams.
- Document, demonstrate, and present research findings.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain an active Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field plus a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- An MS or PhD with equivalent work experience may also be considered.
- Experience with binary analysis of software or firmware and with disassembly tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Proficiency in one or more assembly languages such as x86 or ARM.
- Understanding of reverse-engineering fundamentals including memory layout and calling conventions.
- Preferred experience includes vulnerability research, exploit weaponization, implant or software-patch development, binary emulation, QEMU, AFL++, embedded systems, firmware analysis, custom emulation tools, disassembler/decompiler development, operating-system internals, protocol analysis, anti-reverse-engineering techniques, and intrusion-detection or anti-malware systems.
