Responsibilities
- Lead Test Engineering teams and develop, release, and maintain test plans and procedures.
- Prepare, maintain, and execute manual test cases and automated test scripts based on user stories.
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.
- Review test coverage and automation approaches with stakeholders and provide guidance to colleagues.
- Construct end-to-end business scenarios and identify environmental and test data dependencies.
- Manage test environments and data, maintain process compliance documentation, and track execution milestones.
- Report issues and risks affecting project timelines and track defects through closure.
- Work with developers, business clients, and technical teams to remediate system defects and ensure quality standards.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate risks appropriately.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with automated unit and integration testing.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery models and onsite/offshore coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle, testing methodologies, and test automation frameworks.
- Experience using Selenium and Java for test automation.
- Extensive experience testing components based on modern scripting languages, including front-end and back-end testing.
- Experience writing sophisticated SQL queries.
- Experience with JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of test data management is a plus.
- Understanding of smoke testing, black-box and non-black-box testing, regression testing, and test planning.
- Ability to estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities and work independently or collaboratively with business and technical teams.
