Base Salary
$105k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and integrate tools and technologies for the Compliance, Surveillance, and Supervision domain.
- Integrate upstream bank systems with core surveillance platforms and vendor applications.
- Build robust, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines and analytics engines.
- Develop, unit test, deliver, and productionize scalable distributed systems.
- Support large datasets in batch-oriented and near-real-time processing environments.
- Design and build surveillance data models while satisfying regulatory, audit, technology-risk, and information-security obligations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with capital-markets asset classes and products and understanding of AML, trade surveillance, and payments surveillance.
- Strong Core Java experience with some Python exposure.
- Experience building and productionizing scalable distributed systems.
- Understanding of data storage, ETL, and modern data-engineering patterns.
- Experience with big-data processing frameworks including Apache Spark.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data lakes, relational databases, Databricks, and Hadoop.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems with vendor applications.
- Understanding of messaging systems and integration patterns including Solace and Kafka.
- Nice to have implementation experience with NICE Actimize, understanding of workflow engines, and familiarity with DevOps tools and Agile delivery methodology.
