Base Salary
$105k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and integrate tools and technologies used across the Compliance, Surveillance, and Supervision domain.
- Integrate upstream bank systems with core surveillance platforms and enterprise vendor applications.
- Build robust, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines and analytics engines.
- Develop, unit test, deliver, and productionize scalable distributed systems using Java and Python.
- Work with large datasets in batch-oriented and near-real-time environments.
- Design and build surveillance data models while meeting regulatory, compliance, audit, technology-risk, and information-security obligations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Strong Core Java experience and some Python exposure.
- Experience building, unit testing, delivering, and productionizing scalable distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of data storage, ETL, and modern data-engineering patterns.
- Experience with Apache Spark and big-data processing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data lakes, relational databases, Databricks, and Hadoop.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems with vendor applications.
- Understanding of messaging systems and integration patterns, including Solace and Kafka.
- Familiarity with capital-markets asset classes and products.
- Understanding of AML, trade-surveillance, and payments-surveillance concepts.
- Experience designing and building surveillance data models.
- Preferred experience implementing vendor surveillance platforms such as NICE Actimize, understanding workflow engines, and familiarity with DevOps tools.
