Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Model Context Protocol servers and integrations that expose enterprise data sources and applications to AI assistants and agents.
- Develop document-processing pipelines for research documents, including parsing, chunking, metadata and entity tagging, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Build Snowflake plug-ins and data access layers using SQL, Snowpark, or Cortex with appropriate entitlements, security, and governance.
- Provision and manage AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform and ship production-grade APIs and services with monitoring and logging.
- Partner with investment, risk, operations, and other non-technical stakeholders to create reliable AI tools and evaluate output quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience building robust backend services and REST or streaming APIs.
- Hands-on experience developing LLM applications using tool or function calling, RAG architectures, embeddings, vector search, and prompt or evaluation design.
- Solid SQL and data-engineering skills, including extracting structured data from PDFs, Word documents, and Excel files.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, containers, Git-based CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Advanced or bilingual English proficiency at C1+ level and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical business stakeholders.
- MCP and Snowflake experience are strongly preferred.
- Preferred experience includes hedge funds or asset management, regulated financial services, enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Anthropic, or OpenAI APIs, LLM observability tooling, and TypeScript or Node.js.
