Responsibilities
- Design and develop Node.js backend services and enterprise integration components.
- Build secure REST APIs for metadata search, retrieval, creation, updates, and integrations.
- Implement Microsoft Entra ID authentication, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, JWT validation, and role-based access controls.
- Develop integrations with Collibra, PostgreSQL, and other enterprise services.
- Build reusable, scalable, maintainable, and secure software components aligned with enterprise standards.
- Create automated unit, integration, API, and regression tests.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and production releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and production issues.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, security teams, platform teams, and developers.
- Evaluate and use AI-assisted development tools for code generation, code review, testing, documentation, and developer productivity.
- Deliver secure, scalable, production-ready software with reliable integrations, strong test coverage, operational readiness, and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, REST API development, SQL, PostgreSQL, Git, and CI/CD.
- Experience implementing OAuth2/OpenID Connect, JWT authentication, RBAC security models, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and Jira.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Amazon Q, or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Collibra APIs, data governance, data lineage, or metadata management platforms.
- Preferred experience with HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, or enterprise secrets management.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Linux, NGINX, certificates, networking, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with Dynatrace or Azure Monitor.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Experience developing AI-enabled applications, AI agents, MCP-based integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation patterns, or agentic workflows.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI-assisted testing, code generation, and automated documentation practices.
