Base Salary
$80k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify testable product requirements and assist with comprehensive test plans.
- Develop and maintain Python automation tools and scripts interfacing with laboratory test equipment and products under test.
- Write Design Verification and Acceptance Test procedures for engineering, validation, and manufacturing activities.
- Execute tests and troubleshoot software, hardware, communication interfaces, and test setups to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Present technical findings and participate in Test Review Boards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing operations to improve test clarity, repeatability, reliability, and automation.
- Integrate products with hardware and software engineering teams and resolve technical issues during development.
- Provide estimates for test features, automation scripts, and verification procedures while supporting project schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in software integration, test engineering, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, automation, software and hardware troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Experience documenting, tracking, and communicating technical issues and findings.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting software and hardware communication interfaces.
- Experience with C/C++, JavaScript, SQL, and Linux is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
