Responsibilities
- Develop Java services and enterprise-grade applications integrated into end-to-end processing.
- Design and implement robust, secure, and efficient APIs, business logic, and data persistence and retrieval.
- Design and implement microservices using the Spring ecosystem and Kafka-based event-driven architectures.
- Provide software development and L3 production support across the application lifecycle.
- Implement multithreading, concurrency handling, and performance optimization in Java applications.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and provide technical leadership in architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional product, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Apply design patterns, SOLID principles, clean coding practices, and application security standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of hands-on backend development experience using Java.
- Strong proficiency in Java JDK 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging and event-streaming platforms.
- Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of software design principles, SOLID, and design patterns.
- Experience implementing OAuth2, JWT, encryption, and secure coding standards.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
