Responsibilities
- Develop Java services integrated into end-to-end processing workflows.
- Design and implement robust, secure, and efficient APIs, data persistence, and business logic.
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Design and implement microservices and event-driven architectures using Spring and Kafka.
- Provide software development and L3 production support across the application lifecycle.
- Implement multithreading, concurrency handling, and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and architectural decision-making.
- Apply security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, encryption, and secure coding standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with product, QA, infrastructure, subject matter experts, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of hands-on backend development experience using Java.
- Strong proficiency in Java, JDK 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Experience with microservices architecture, API design, and Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
- Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, performance tuning, software design principles, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience implementing application security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and encryption.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
