Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and go-to resource for the development team.
- Lead architecture and technical design for complex AEM and web applications.
- Design AEM Components, Content Fragments, Sling Models, OSGi Services, Sling Servlets, OSGi EventHandlers, and JCR Event Listeners.
- Develop Java and Spring Boot RESTful APIs integrated with PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and Apigee.
- Build modern responsive frontend experiences using TypeScript and React, including API integrations and SSR architectures.
- Integrate AEM with Adobe Analytics, Elasticsearch, OAuth authentication providers, and other enterprise platforms.
- Establish development standards, design patterns, code-review practices, and engineering quality expectations.
- Troubleshoot AEM, Dispatcher, caching, URL mapping, publishing, and complex production issues.
- Mentor developers, communicate technical concepts to varied stakeholders, and drive solutions from design through delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience with significant enterprise web application experience.
- At least 8 years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager experience.
- Strong Java, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful API, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React experience.
- Strong understanding of web architecture, APIs, content management, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and delivering complex technical solutions, performing code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and solving technical problems.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership without formal management authority.
- Preferred experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, React SSR, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Adobe Experience Cloud, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Git, automated testing, web performance, caching, CDN, Dispatcher optimization, and enterprise integrations.
