Base Salary
$307k - $427k/yr
Responsibilities
- Leverage networking and cloud computing expertise to support AI and agentic workloads.
- Define, drive, and deliver a multi-year technical outlook and architectural strategy across the service networking ecosystem.
- Partner with product management and customers to understand AI and agentic requirements.
- Lead software engineers in the service networking organization and ensure their work aligns with the technical outlook and lands on time with high quality.
- Mentor and sponsor technical leaders across Google Cloud.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of software engineering experience building and working with large-scale distributed systems.
- 5 years of experience delivering networking solutions at hyperscale.
- 2 years of experience serving ML, AI, or agentic workloads.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, experience with AI infrastructure and modeling teams, Kubernetes for large-model training or serving, multi-year architectural transitions, Layer 7 protocols, edge networking, traffic management algorithms, secure proxy architectures, and developing technical leads.
