Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, design, and architecture for reliable, scalable customer-facing systems.
- Design and implement software while following project-wide engineering and architectural best practices.
- Collaborate across teams, manage complex requirements, and convert outcomes into simplified solutions.
- Understand AI/ML applications, monitor performance, identify key problem areas, and coordinate with dependency teams.
- Strategize and drive projects that improve development velocity, engineering excellence, and product excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, or compute, storage, or hardware architecture technologies.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 3 years of technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in complex, matrixed, cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: experience in system integration, system design, computational modeling, web or mobile development, Unix/Linux, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, software systems, or security software development.
