Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise AI applications using LLMs, prompt workflows, RAG, and agent-based patterns.
- Evaluate model quality, latency, cost, safety, and business effectiveness.
- Implement responsible AI controls, observability, and governance for production AI systems.
- Identify and scale high-value AI use cases with architects, product owners, and business teams.
- Convert prototypes into reliable, production-ready applications and automate repeatable business processes.
- Develop APIs and microservices and integrate AI solutions with claims, document, and data platforms.
- Ensure scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end test automation.
- Apply secure coding practices, including OAuth, JWT, and secrets management.
- Mentor engineers, guide AI best practices, evaluate emerging AI technologies, and recommend solutions.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, TypeScript, FastAPI, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with RAG pipeline architecture and development and with agentic systems for multi-step automation.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and services including GKE, Cloud Storage, PostgreSQL, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
- Advanced knowledge of integration platforms, APIs, and web services.
- Experience with CI/CD automation using Docker, GKE, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, modeling, and query optimization.
- Automated unit and integration testing experience.
- Working knowledge of React and front-end fundamentals.
- Understanding of SRE and observability fundamentals, including logs, metrics, and traces.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically at least 7 years of systems analysis and application development experience, including 3 or more years building AI solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience in high-performing Agile teams; applicable certifications and insurance industry knowledge are preferred.
