Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality software and well-defined features or stories for complex business problems.
- Contribute to architecture and design with support from senior team members.
- Write clean, tested code and improve team coding standards.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, customers, end users, stakeholders, and technical and non-technical teams.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Implement automated, unit, and integration testing.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply security practices such as threat modeling.
- Lead code reviews and review pull requests.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and technical solutions using a data-driven approach.
- Share knowledge through internal tech talks, blogging, and external events.
Requirements
- Experience with TypeScript and AWS.
- GenAI exposure or a demonstrated interest in AI.
- Either a third-level qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM subject and three years of commercial software development experience, or current valid industry-recognized certifications and five years of commercial software development experience.
- Experience designing and delivering features or functions as part of a software development team.
- Experience working with Product Owners, customers, end users, or stakeholders.
- Experience with LLMs and RAG is preferred.
- Python exposure is advantageous.
