Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality software and GenAI or agentic AI solutions for complex business problems.
  • Design and deliver features or functions as part of an agile software development team.
  • Contribute to architecture and design with support from senior team members.
  • Write clean, standards-compliant code and improve team coding standards.
  • Own, scope, and deliver defined deliverables or stories.
  • Collaborate with product owners, customers, end users, stakeholders, and technical and non-technical teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Implement automated, unit, and integration testing and contribute to code quality.
  • Apply security processes such as threat modeling to developed code.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead code reviews and review pull requests.
  • Evaluate new technologies and technical solutions using a data-driven approach.
  • Share knowledge through internal tech talks, blogging, and external events.

Requirements

  • TypeScript and AWS experience or exposure.
  • GenAI exposure or a demonstrated interest in AI.
  • A third-level qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM subject plus three years of commercial software development experience, or current valid industry-recognized certifications plus five years of commercial software development experience.
  • Experience designing and delivering features or functions within an agile software development team.
  • Experience working with product owners, customers, end users, or stakeholders to deliver software, solutions, or products.
  • Experience with LLMs and RAG is preferred.
  • Python exposure is advantageous.
