Base Salary

$108k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, test, document, and maintain Windows-based DevOps and DevSecOps systems.
  • Install, configure, harden, optimize, and maintain Windows environments across servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware.
  • Develop and deploy templates, dashboards, scripts, and automation supporting program needs.
  • Build and integrate systems across on-premises and cloud computing environments while optimizing performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems involving servers, commercial off-the-shelf products, virtual machines, virtual desktop infrastructure, and networks.
  • Provide guidance on resource allocation and utilization and assist engineers with Windows-based tools and issues.
  • Maintain system documentation and baseline control using company and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or physics, plus at least 8 years of related work experience.
  • Proven experience installing, configuring, hardening, and maintaining Windows environments.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and integrating cloud infrastructure solutions, preferably with AWS.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools such as Terraform, Chef, and/or Ansible.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and network issues.
  • Active and current TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph required on day one.
  • U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include advanced Windows platform troubleshooting, extensive Windows OS development and deployment, Python and Bash scripting, Active Directory design and implementation, Agile and SAFe experience, enterprise application deployment knowledge, and Windows MCSE or similar Security+ certification.
