Responsibilities
- Build software platforms and tooling for large-scale quantitative research and portfolio production.
- Own and solve complex technical challenges involved in developing a scalable and efficient firmwide platform.
- Write, test, and deploy production-quality C++ code on Linux.
- Develop large-scale distributed systems using high-performance application design and concurrency patterns.
- Collaborate with researchers, portfolio managers, and technology teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience writing production-quality C++ code on Linux.
- Strong understanding and experience with Linux system programming fundamentals.
- Ability to develop large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, high-performance application design, and concurrency patterns.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and proficiency in English.
- Python development experience is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale graph-data computation or streaming/dataflow systems is preferred.
- Prior financial-services experience is not required.
