Responsibilities
- Maintain and support business-critical backend services built with Node.js, NestJS, and Redis.
- Investigate complex production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues through resolution.
- Analyze logs, traces, monitoring data, and application behavior to diagnose system anomalies.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems, microservices, integrations, and high-volume data flows.
- Support and optimize Redis workloads, caching strategies, and platform performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotations and communicate incident impact and resolution plans to stakeholders.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, observability improvements, and platform stability initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and Redis.
- Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting microservice-based architectures.
- Proven experience supporting production systems and managing live incidents.
- Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with REST API integrations and distributed systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
- Ability to work independently in complex environments with limited documentation.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Nice-to-have experience with Terraform, BigQuery, event-driven architectures, CI/CD pipelines, conversational platforms or chatbot ecosystems, AI-enabled platforms and integrations, or React.
