Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, resilient, and high-performance Wise Assistant components.
- Build and maintain the core Java microservice that consumes Kafka messages and contribute to TypeScript and Python codebases.
- Own intent detection systems, contact processing pipelines, and routing logic for automation solutions.
- Design LLM-powered solutions using AWS Bedrock to resolve customer queries.
- Lead technical integrations with third-party AI agent vendors.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of the contact automation platform.
- Collaborate with content designers to implement and refine automated conversational flows.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
Requirements
- Senior-level software engineering experience appropriate for leading end-to-end technical solutions.
- Experience designing and developing scalable software components and automation platforms.
- Experience with Java, Kafka, TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience working with LLM-based or AI-powered solutions, including AWS Bedrock.
- Ability to design intent detection, processing pipelines, routing systems, and third-party integrations.
- Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
