Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, debug, verify, and release embedded software for multiple variable-frequency drive products.
- Develop and adapt software features according to business and product requirements while meeting performance, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Analyze and resolve software defects and customer issues within required timelines.
- Prepare and maintain software design documents, interface specifications, test records, and other technical documentation.
- Complete requirements analysis, design reviews, code reviews, testing, validation, and release approval activities according to company processes.
- Identify, document, and escalate significant technical and project risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronic information, automation, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C and C++, with strong coding standards and debugging skills.
- Experience developing low-level drivers for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, such as STM32, Renesas, or TI C2000 platforms.
- Familiarity with Modbus, CANopen, EtherCAT, and Profinet communication protocols.
- Ability to read circuit schematics and use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for hardware-software debugging.
- Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills in complex systems.
- Proficiency with Git and Python, and knowledge of static code analysis and unit testing.
