Responsibilities
- Develop highly available and scalable Passenger Information System software for rolling stock.
- Perform software coding, testing, maintenance, image building, and self-testing.
- Respond to customer-reported issues, identify problems, and provide solutions.
- Write Software Design Description, Software Requirements Specification, and Interface Control Document documentation.
- Communicate with system engineers about requirements and collaborate with global teams on design reviews, sharing, and training.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or three or more years of experience with a master’s degree.
- Proficiency in C++ development, Python, and Bash.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux programming and inter-process communication mechanisms such as sockets and D-Bus.
- Knowledge of GUI development and event-driven mechanisms is a plus, including Qt, Electron, and Vue.
- Experience with GStreamer or FFmpeg is a plus.
- Experience with Asterisk or PJSIP audio technologies is a plus.
- Experience with electronic engineering, device drivers, and Linux OS/Yocto is a plus.
- Ability to use English as a work language.
