Responsibilities

  • Design and build AWS infrastructure with Terraform across multiple production environments.
  • Scale and operate Kubernetes clusters supporting CPU and GPU workloads while improving reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Enhance Cilium networking and develop internal platform tooling in TypeScript and automation languages.
  • Build Buildkite CI/CD workflows and operate ArgoCD-based GitOps deployments with automated validation and progressive delivery.
  • Expand Datadog observability and strengthen secrets management, access controls, and infrastructure security.
  • Participate in incident response, capacity planning, cloud cost optimization, and developer productivity improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience in SRE, platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Strong AWS expertise, particularly with EKS, IAM, VPC, RDS, and S3.
  • Hands-on Terraform and Kubernetes experience, including networking, RBAC, autoscaling, and cluster operations.
  • Experience or interest in Cilium, eBPF networking, service mesh technologies, GitOps, ArgoCD, and Buildkite or similar CI/CD platforms.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Bash, or other infrastructure-focused programming languages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4+ years of related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 3+ years or a PhD plus 2+ years.
  • At least 2 years of experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a distributed, remote-first environment; equivalent experience may be considered.
