Responsibilities
- Lead architecture for cloud networking, orchestration, provisioning, and security solutions.
- Design system architectures for DPU and NIC technologies.
- Build end-to-end solutions spanning application-level software through hardware.
- Write clear, reliable architecture specifications.
- Evaluate new technologies and rapidly develop proof-of-concept prototypes for future products and solutions.
- Collaborate with software and hardware architects, R&D, product, application, and field engineering teams worldwide.
- Work with customers on advanced and future technologies and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least four years of experience as a software architect or system architect.
- At least four years of experience as a software developer.
- Deep knowledge of and experience with C and Python.
- Hands-on Linux development experience with Docker and container-based technologies.
- Experience with cloud and data center networking, networking protocols, and common network topologies.
- Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work concurrently with multiple local and international groups.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Preferred experience includes networking or security devices such as NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, and firewalls; DPDK, OVS, OVN; Kubernetes components, subsystems, CRDs, Operators, system plugins, and CNI plugin development; Calico, Flannel, OpenStack, OpenShift, cloud APIs, and Ansible.
