Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance software solutions for large-scale financial data and compliance environments.
- Develop software and infrastructure that enable repeatable, efficient, automated, high-quality releases.
- Debug and resolve critical production issues across services, stack levels, and system layers.
- Lead design for medium-sized components and contribute to the design of larger components and features.
- Use customer and product stakeholder input to determine effective technical solutions.
- Analyze data, identify patterns, and document and communicate complex information for non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and make informed technical trade-offs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development with Java, service-oriented architectures, and cloud computing.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, a frontend framework such as React or Next.js, CSS, HTML, Kubernetes, and/or Docker.
- Knowledge of scalable distributed-system design patterns and core computer science concepts.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWTs, user session management, and designing, building, and maintaining web and mobile applications.
- Ability to write clean, readable, well-tested, thoroughly documented code and adjust existing designs and technology choices appropriately.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, cross-functional teamwork, and project delivery skills.
- Preferred: experience with payments or FinTech, big data analytics tools such as Snowflake, stream processing architectures, technical blogs, public GitHub repositories, or open-source projects.
