Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own kernel-mode enforcement drivers for various operations.
- Manage the kernel/user-mode enforcement boundary and event capture.
- Reduce enforce-mode latency for operations across large fleets.
- Extend enforcement capabilities into Windows containers and isolation.
- Ensure portability and stability across different Windows builds.
- Collaborate with Linux and macOS enforcement engineers on shared policies.
- Identify gaps and risks in requirements and propose solutions.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on Windows systems.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Windows kernel internals and driver development.
- Experience with kernel-mode driver work for security enforcement.
- Knowledge of driver signing, deployment, and operational costs.
- Familiarity with the Windows isolation model and kernel-level security.
- Proficiency in kernel debugging and performance tooling.
- 8+ years of experience in systems-level software engineering.
- Demonstrated experience with AI-driven development tools.
- Full-lifecycle experience in an agile environment.
