Base Salary
$165k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop robust firmware for microcontrollers and create reusable device drivers.
- Drive program-level efforts to maximize customer impact through product ownership.
- Mentor junior engineers to enhance the capabilities of the firmware team.
- Collaborate with Electrical, Software, and Product Design teams for program success.
- Identify and implement improvements at both team and program levels.
- Coordinate new-hardware bringup and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Support Test Engineering with firmware for high-yield production.
- Assist in product field testing to identify firmware feature opportunities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in embedded systems software/firmware development.
- MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and product ownership.
- Extensive experience with microcontroller integration and firmware logic development.
- Outstanding C coding skills and familiarity with the language standard.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and debugging approaches.
- Practical experience with IC bus protocols like I2C, SPI, USB, and CAN.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance.
