Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, document, and execute unit tests and version unique tests for PARCS software release delivery.
- Assess PARCS and UEWR systems and networks for deviations from acceptable configurations and applicable policies.
- Support developers with lab testing, application software debugging, and system integration in a classified laboratory.
- Analyze and help design electronic data processing systems used for PARCS software testing.
- Develop technical solutions to complex testing problems using ingenuity and creativity.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and coordinate with engineers responsible for operational and test systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and two or more years of relevant experience.
- Secret Clearance.
- Experience testing backend host software and frontend graphical user interfaces.
- Experience with Unix and Windows systems.
- Basic understanding of thread mechanics, including blocking versus non-blocking operations and synchronous versus asynchronous tasks.
- Preferred experience with real-time embedded software and ground-based radars.
- Preferred knowledge of the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment mission and associated enterprise.
- Preferred experience testing highly available mission operations systems and legacy code platforms such as assembly language.
- Preferred experience with the Solaris operating system.
