Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to build and deploy applications using PhysicsX physics AI models.
- Collaborate with designers and frontend engineers to shape user experiences around customer needs.
- Design end-to-end tools, create low-lift prototypes, ship them to customers, and iterate based on user feedback.
- Build and maintain Python microservices and FastAPI APIs to serve Large Physics Models to end users.
- Deploy applications to cloud infrastructure using Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Azure.
- Distill solutions across use cases into reusable platform components and develop features on top of the core platform offering.
- Drive software and platform improvements that help customers solve increasingly complex engineering problems.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering ability and a track record of solving difficult problems.
- Solid foundations in full-stack software engineering, API design, and deploying applications to production.
- Ability to understand complex engineering concepts and problems across multiple industries.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to work alongside customers to define and solve problems.
- High ownership, proactivity, and ability to learn the skills needed to solve novel problems quickly.
- A background in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline is a plus.
