Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, executes, debugs, and troubleshoots secure, scalable software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Creates high-quality production code, maintains algorithms, and ensures software implementations meet architecture and design constraints.
- Uses and critically validates enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Analyzes large and diverse datasets, creates visualizations and reports, and uses identified patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Collaborates as a seasoned member of an agile team to deliver technology products supporting Asset and Wealth Management business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of applied experience in a commercial software engineering setting.
- Commercial experience with Java and React.
- Experience designing scalable microservices using RESTful technologies.
- Knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, ActiveMQ, Kafka, Maven, Gradle, JUnit, and mocking frameworks.
- Knowledge of Sass, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and front-end bundling tools.
- Experience developing, debugging, and performing automated testing using tools such as React Testing Library and Cypress.
- Expertise with relational and NoSQL databases and JVM performance analysis, including profiling, heap dump analysis, thread dump analysis, and garbage collection tuning.
- Understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, application resiliency, security, and the software development life cycle.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Preferred familiarity with ag-grid, Redux, cloud technologies, and investment banking or finance technology.
