$209k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development of machine learning models for Uber Freight Marketplace.
- Develop models for cost prediction, booking probability, demand elasticity, pricing, matching, recommendation, and optimization.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to put ML models into production and ensure they work as expected.
- Adapt ML models to business and marketplace contexts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing machine learning models to solve business problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Product experience is preferred.
- Experience with state-of-the-art marketplace technology is preferred.
- Experience with causal inference and constrained optimization is preferred.

- The base salary range is $209,000-$232,000 per year for Chicago roles and $232,000-$258,000 per year for New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Sunnyvale roles.
