Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable AI systems, full-stack applications, and AWS cloud infrastructure focused on LLM-powered services and agentic workflows.
- Own architecture decisions and technical strategy for AI tools used by multiple Zynga game studios and engineering teams.
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, reviews, CI/CD, reliability, processes, and operational metrics.
- Evaluate AI platforms and infrastructure and document architecture and system-design plans.
- Collaborate with studios, product, and central technology teams to propose AI-driven developer productivity solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders on scoping and sequencing, identify technical risks, and coach and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience developing cloud-based software.
- Experience integrating AI/ML systems at the platform layer.
- Demonstrated expertise in Python across multiple programming languages, architectures, and system types.
- Strong experience with AWS or other cloud computing platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes/EKS, and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Deep understanding of algorithms, design patterns, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including confidence communicating with senior leadership.
- Familiarity with web development using JavaScript, Angular, and React is a plus.
