Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise software products.
- Produce maintainable C and C++ code according to design specifications and coding standards.
- Write and execute unit tests and support integration testing.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and the software development lifecycle through release.
- Analyze and resolve product defects, maintenance issues, and customer-reported problems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, quality engineers, product owners, and development teams.
- Provide status updates, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues when needed.
- Continuously develop technical and product knowledge and share relevant learnings with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience, preferably in enterprise product development.
- Hands-on programming experience in C and C++ on Unix/Linux platforms.
- Working knowledge of Win32, MFC, and COM/DCOM.
- Experience with web-based platforms or enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XML Schema, and XPath.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, software design, application architecture, middleware/application servers, and databases.
- Ability to read technical and architectural documentation and identify implementation considerations or potential issues.
- Familiarity with source control, build processes, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.
- Experience working in Agile development teams.
- Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
