Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write Java, Python, Go, or C++ code for high-throughput backend services, storage schemas, APIs, and data pipelines supporting massive-scale GenAI systems.
- Collaborate on technical design and code reviews to improve code quality, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation and developer content while adapting engineering specifications based on system updates, prompt variations, and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve production anomalies involving hardware, networks, services, latency, and output quality.
- Implement specialized machine learning solutions involving ML infrastructure, model optimization, data processing, and Tier 2 on-call reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- At least 1 year of experience with speech/audio systems, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another distinct machine learning specialization.
- At least 1 year of experience with end-to-end machine learning, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, and debugging.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in a relevant technical field and experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Preferred experience includes LLMs, prompt design or optimization such as APO, modern agentic orchestration frameworks, accessible technology, and full-stack development across backend services, database schemas, APIs, and frontend frameworks.
