Base Salary
$118k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own evaluation harnesses, agent scaffolds, and application UIs used by security partners.
- Design and evolve schemas and data contracts shared by agents and humans.
- Scope ambiguous partner requests, propose solutions, and drive design, review, rollout, evaluation, tracing, runbooks, and operational readiness.
- Build and maintain integrations across SOAR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, ticketing, and enterprise platforms.
- Develop reusable AI-augmented engineering practices, scaffolds, code-review discipline, and drift-detecting evaluations.
- Prototype, test, ship, learn, and improve solutions while collaborating across security, engineering, governance, and risk teams.
Requirements
- Strong Python skills and hands-on experience shipping production software such as APIs, services, batch jobs, or application backends.
- Hands-on experience building or evaluating LLM or agent systems, or strong software-engineering fundamentals with demonstrated AI-augmented development using tools such as Copilot or coding agents.
- Experience designing or evolving schemas and data contracts and building application UIs on real data.
- Working knowledge of identity and access, secrets handling, secure-by-default configuration, and common security data including vulnerabilities, incidents, identity, and threat intelligence.
- Experience with agent and evaluation tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, LLM-as-judge, offline evaluation, tracing, and agent-run observability.
- Frontend experience with React or similar technologies for internal security tools.
- Hands-on experience with security tools or data used for triage and investigation, including SIEM, vulnerability scanners, identity systems, orchestration platforms, or Tines.
- Working AWS fluency and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or container tooling such as Terraform and Docker.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces, define solutions, communicate clearly, collaborate across teams, and own shipped systems through operational follow-through.
Benefits
- Primary location base salary range is $130,200-$195,400 USD annually; additional US location ranges are $117,800-$210,000 USD and Colorado range is $124,000-$186,000 USD.
- The role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
