Base Salary
$153k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop platform software for safety-critical embedded systems.
- Help define and implement software architecture for triplex compute platforms.
- Design and build tools, frameworks, and infrastructure for HIL/SIL simulation and automated testing.
- Apply real-time Linux and compute-systems expertise to embedded-system hardening, time synchronization, and inter-compute communications.
- Integrate peripheral devices into the embedded flight-software stack using I2C, CAN, SPI, and UART.
- Contribute to embedded-system and device design, bring-up, testing, and flight automation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, master's degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD with 3 years of experience.
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mechatronics, physics, mathematics, or a similar field, or a strong portfolio of embedded software or relevant industry experience.
- Fluency in C, C++, Python, and Git.
- Demonstrated experience with safety-critical software systems and embedded Linux platforms.
- Understanding of communication protocols and the role of electrical hardware in embedded systems.
- Must qualify as a US Person under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 to meet US export-control compliance requirements.
- Desired experience includes logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, Rust, aerospace work, Bazel, continuous integration for automated hardware-in-the-loop testing, and efficient hardware-accelerated code using SIMD, GPU, or FPGA for digital signal processing.

- Target base pay is $153,000-$245,000 per year, with additional Restricted Stock Units.
