Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop Puppet modules and Hiera configurations that enforce secure configurations and compliance.
- Create Helm charts for Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Write Bash and Python automation scripts.
- Develop reusable, modular infrastructure code libraries for deployment across customer environments.
- Collaborate with developers, platform engineers, and integration teams on code handoff and implementation.
- Align code with Department of Defense security requirements and STIG compliance.
- Occasionally participate in onsite customer meetings or integration efforts.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI.
- At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure or platform development.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, preferably RKE2, Helm chart development, GitLab pipeline creation, Puppet and Hiera development, Bash, Python, Ansible, and RHEL Linux environments.
- Ability to write clean, modular code intended for handoff.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a related field.
- Preferred: 10 or more years of infrastructure or platform development experience.
- Preferred: experience with Harbor, Trivy, Skopeo, LDAP, Keycloak, disconnected or air-gapped systems, and DoD/IC environments.
- Preferred: contributions to open-source infrastructure automation projects.
