Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and deploy new and existing cloud products and services.
- Build and operate highly available distributed systems supporting subscription billing, customer engagement, and cloud cost management.
- Build CI/CD environments and streamline deployments for cloud applications.
- Adopt OCI standard tools, DevOps standards, and related engineering practices.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews and suggest improvements to existing software architecture.
- Resolve complex bugs and performance, scalability, health, and resiliency issues.
- Build monitoring tools for complex systems and high-volume transactions and integrate them with other business applications.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Java, PL/SQL, RDBMS databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Python 3, Apache Spark, and data pipeline experience are nice-to-have qualifications.
