Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and manage Docker images and deploy, scale, and maintain applications across Kubernetes clusters.
- Design, provision, and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Write and maintain Python and Bash automation scripts for operational tasks and infrastructure management.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Apache Airflow orchestration pipelines.
- Perform Linux system administration, configure Datadog reliability monitoring, and resolve production incidents.
- Support global clients in a shift-based environment and manage incidents and task tracking with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
- Maintain operational runbooks, test production fixes, and follow applicable security policies and secure software development processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes management and deployment.
- Solid expertise with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Unix/Linux administration experience and strong Python and Bash scripting skills.
- Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools and workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence and comfort working in shift-based models supporting global teams.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Proof of the right to work in the UK and ability to obtain SC clearance.
- Equivalent combinations of related education, training, and experience may be considered.
