Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain macOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Integrate new features and optimize existing macOS application functionality.
  • Design and maintain resilient, high-performance, scalable software solutions for macOS.
  • Write clean, modular, testable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Use macOS frameworks, APIs, and development tools effectively.
  • Implement scripting solutions to automate workflows and improve development processes.
  • Debug complex problems and analyze stack traces from crash dumps.
  • Lead engineering initiatives and contribute to complex technical design discussions.
  • Collaborate with product management, cross-functional teams, and external groups to define and deliver solutions.
  • Improve processes around DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD.

Requirements

  • Eight years of experience in coding, problem-solving, and data structures and algorithms, with basic high-level and low-level design knowledge.
  • Extensive background in macOS internals and software architecture.
  • Strong experience developing macOS applications with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Knowledge of macOS frameworks, APIs, and tools.
  • Ability to design and deliver resilient, high-performance, and scalable software solutions.
  • Experience debugging complex problems and analyzing crash dumps and stack traces.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, product management, and external teams.
