Responsibilities
- Develop and customize ServiceNow ITAM functionality for hardware asset lifecycle management, CMDB CI data modeling, discovery, reconciliation, audits, and depreciation.
- Implement ServiceNow SAM capabilities including software license entitlement, compliance, reconciliation, normalization, publisher catalog management, reclamation, and end-of-life tracking.
- Configure and develop ITSM capabilities for incident, problem, change, knowledge, request, catalog, and service portal processes.
- Write JavaScript and Glide scripting using client scripts, UI policies, UI scripts, script includes, business rules, and scheduled jobs.
- Develop Service Portal experiences using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AJAX, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Design and support REST and SOAP integrations and scalable, distributed systems.
- Provide technical consultation during project delivery, including options, trade-offs, and risks.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of ServiceNow development experience in ITAM and ITSM modules.
- Mandatory ServiceNow System Administration Certification.
- Completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Service Portal, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and AJAX.
- Exposure to at least one JavaScript framework such as AngularJS or React.
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP technologies.
- Experience with object-oriented and modularized software development and scalable, distributed systems.
- Implementation Specialist certification is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, customer-service, teamwork, cultural awareness, and technical consulting skills.
