Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, test, maintain, and optimize services, applications, and database solutions.
- Write primarily Java code, with exposure to Python or other programming languages.
- Design, query, and optimize database schemas and solutions for scalability and performance.
- Learn and use Jenkins, Gradle, JUnit, and Terraform for automation.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot software performance, coding, design, and database-related issues with team support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience; internships or personal projects are welcome.
- Familiarity with Java or a similar programming language; Python is a plus.
- Basic understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments.
- Willingness to learn RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions and seek help.
