Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, maintain, and optimize software services and applications, primarily using Java.
- Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions.
- Design, query, and optimize database schemas and solutions for scalability and performance.
- Use automation tools including Jenkins, Gradle, JUnit, and Terraform.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot software performance, coding, design, and database issues.
- Maintain existing software and database solutions and stay current with new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Java or a similar programming language; Python is a plus.
- Strong understanding of frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue and full-stack development concepts.
- Basic understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB databases.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments.
- Willingness to learn RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions and seek help.
