Responsibilities
- Participate in low- to moderately complex technology initiatives and projects, including installations, upgrades, and deployments.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software for technology projects and programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and availability.
- Review technical assignments, research alternatives, and recommend solutions for low- to medium-risk deliverables.
- Present recommendations, escalate issues when necessary, and meet established service-level agreements.
- Develop understanding of security and compliance requirements and provide information to technology colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with large architecture initiatives involving microservices, Java, and J2EE.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, MongoDB, Kafka, Fongo, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, PCF, AWS, Apigee, Spring Cloud Gateway, service discovery, service mesh, distributed logging, and distributed tracing.
- Knowledge of domain-driven design and hands-on experience with the Strangler, API gateway, aggregation, CQRS, event sourcing, Saga, and circuit breaker patterns.
- Hands-on experience with an RDBMS, Mockito, AngularJS, Angular 6, Git, Bootstrap, Angular 7/8, PrimeNG, and the ELK stack.
- Exposure to Splunk dashboards and AppDynamics.
- Proficiency with code analysis and debugging tools, Git source repositories, and Gradle.
- Experience leading a team of 6–8 technical members.
- Working knowledge of Scrum development processes and strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and good working experience with AI tools.
