Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Python or Golang.
- Build and optimize low-latency streaming architectures for live threat intelligence data.
- Implement and tune OpenSearch or Elasticsearch search and indexing layers for large datasets.
- Translate high-level goals into technical specifications and clean, maintainable code.
- Manage deployments and infrastructure within AWS and EKS.
- Identify architectural gaps and proactively propose improvements.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development and automate routine backend tasks.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of production experience in backend development and systems design.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or similar message brokers or streaming platforms.
- Production experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch at scale.
- Deep familiarity with AWS and mandatory production experience with EKS and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python or Golang and solid experience with Postgres.
- Ability to work through zero-to-one challenges and define requirements when specifications are loose.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a closely related engineering field.
- Familiarity with React and TypeScript, cybersecurity or security data, and modern AI productivity tools is preferred.
