Responsibilities
- Understand Coupang’s web platform and identify opportunities for technical improvement.
- Propose and implement architecture-level solutions for major technology improvement projects.
- Create roadmaps and execute technical improvements in collaboration with other engineers.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to simplify complex business requirements.
- Deliver high-quality frontend designs that support iterative testing with minimal development cost.
- Optimize, maintain, and troubleshoot JavaScript and web applications.
- Communicate effectively and share experience and knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript- or Java-based distributed systems.
- Experience developing large-scale services based on MVC web applications.
- Experience optimizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting JavaScript and web application performance.
- Strong problem-solving ability and demonstrated ability to resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for sharing experience and learning with colleagues.
- E-commerce industry experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud computing technologies is preferred.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture is preferred.
- Experience with ES6, Node.js, React, Mongo.js, or Elasticsearch is preferred.
