Responsibilities
- Participate as a technology leader in major technology improvement projects.
- Understand the Coupang GOT web platform, identify improvement opportunities, and propose architecture-level solutions.
- Create technology roadmaps with other engineers and implement improvements incrementally.
- Coordinate communication and alignment with developers and other organizations.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and stakeholders to simplify complex requirements and create high-level front-end designs that support repeated testing at low development cost.
- Develop front-end pages that handle and visualize large amounts of data.
- Develop and operate systems and terminals used by Coupang delivery personnel and managers.
- Mentor organization members and help improve their individual capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience with basic algorithms, system design, and large-scale distributed systems.
- At least 12 years of professional coding experience with modern programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers is preferred.
- Experience gathering requirements and communicating software features, technical designs, and product strategy to users, technical teams, and senior management is preferred.
- Experience influencing software engineering best practices and hands-on expertise across front-end interfaces and related technologies are preferred.
