Responsibilities
- Lead major technology improvement projects as a senior staff front-end engineer.
- Analyze the Coupang GOT web platform, identify improvement opportunities, and present architecture-level solutions.
- Create and execute technology improvement roadmaps with other engineers.
- Collaborate with developers and organizations to align technical direction and delivery.
- Work with Product Owners, designers, and stakeholders to simplify complex requirements and produce high-level front-end designs.
- Build front-end pages that handle and visualize large amounts of data.
- Mentor organization members and help improve their technical capabilities.
- Develop and operate systems and terminals used by Coupang delivery personnel and managers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with basic algorithms, system design, and large-scale distributed systems.
- 12+ years of professional coding experience using modern programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Preferred experience building and delivering complex software systems to customers.
- Preferred experience gathering requirements and explaining software features, technical designs, and product strategy to users, technical teams, and senior management.
- Preferred experience influencing software engineering best practices and hands-on expertise across diverse technologies.
