Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own projects end to end from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Build and maintain internal web applications, business systems, and integrations.
- Identify automation opportunities with Finance, Accounting, Legal, People, and Recruiting stakeholders and select custom, vendor, or hybrid solutions.
- Develop billing, revenue recognition, usage data ingestion, and reconciliation workstreams across internal data, the ERP, and Salesforce.
- Build MCP servers, skills, and agent-facing tooling so business teams can use AI and create simpler automations.
- Measure and communicate time saved, costs reduced, and errors eliminated to leadership.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience building internal tools, systems, and automations for business teams, internal tooling, business systems, or revenue and finance operations.
- Experience owning projects across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Ability to build production-quality internal tools and solve business problems rather than focus on product engineering.
- Strong generalist capabilities across areas such as billing, finance, recruiting workflows, and business operations.
- Understanding of system design, data flows, failure modes, maintainability, and when to use agentic AI versus deterministic pipelines.
- Hands-on experience using AI-native coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor to ship production solutions.
- Coding experience with Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript, working with APIs, and deploying built solutions.
- Ability to independently drive complex projects under ambiguity and build trust with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and People stakeholders.
- Preferred experience leading AI acceleration or transformation initiatives, applying a product mindset, using GCP services including Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub, building custom MCP servers, and working with billing, revenue systems, or ERP implementations.
