Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-facing features for Proton Meet.
- Build performant, reusable React components and responsive interfaces across devices.
- Advocate for clean, maintainable code and strong frontend architecture.
- Balance performance, accessibility, reliability, and rapid feature delivery.
- Collaborate with backend, design, and other teams to deliver user-centric features.
- Lead large and complex frontend projects and take ownership within a small empowered team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience developing performant and reusable components with React.
- Proficiency with TypeScript or another typed language.
- Experience leading large and complex projects as a frontend engineer.
- Experience with agentic AI is a bonus.
- Experience with audio/video applications, WebRTC, or Messaging Layer Security is a bonus.
