Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer issues related to the SYNKROS application, interfaces, and database.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to address SYNKROS-related issues.
- Report discrepancies, changes, and recommendations to senior management.
- Submit bug fixes to R&D and track their resolution through customer service.
- Maintain communication with R&D regarding new functionality from development cycles.
- Develop and use SQL scripts for issue investigation, resolution, and reporting.
- Implement and troubleshoot RabbitMQ messaging.
- Write and debug PL/SQL scripts on Oracle Database.
- Fine-tune Java code and Oracle Database query performance.
- Debug and test applications to resolve bugs and defects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field; an advanced degree in the same field is also accepted.
- At least 24 months of experience in the offered role, Software Engineer, or a closely related position.
- Experience with application design, implementation, maintenance, and support.
- Proficiency in Java application development using Eclipse and backend work with Oracle Database.
- Experience using Git, Jira, and Zendesk for project and issue tracking.
- Proficiency implementing and troubleshooting RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency writing and debugging PL/SQL scripts on Oracle Database.
- Experience fine-tuning Java application and Oracle Database query performance.
- Experience resolving bugs and defects through debugging and testing.
