Responsibilities
- Design and build Dynamic Tables capabilities with engineers and Product Managers.
- Implement, support, and evolve new features and performance improvements.
- Analyze and solve performance, correctness, and fault-tolerance challenges at scale.
- Investigate unfamiliar parts of large systems to identify root causes and solve problems.
- Ensure operational readiness and reliability, availability, and performance of delivered software.
- Help shape technical and product direction and understand customer usage to guide development.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry experience designing and building database internals or data-intensive systems, or equivalent research experience.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Track record of taking open-ended problems through to software running in production.
- Proficiency with AI-native software engineering and agentic development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Preferred experience with query compilers, query optimizers, database internals, enterprise-grade reliable software, large-scale distributed systems, transactions, consistency models, or open-source data infrastructure and database systems.
