Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for software functionality, user interfaces, algorithms, and electrophysiology-domain requirements.
- Create, run, debug, and maintain automated test scripts and automation framework verification points.
- Execute automation runs, coordinate testing across Scrum teams, and diagnose and report defects and enhancement opportunities.
- Ensure testing follows written procedures, document results, and prepare test reports.
- Assist with test methodology, strategy, and test data setup.
- Participate in Scrum, product review, bug triage, and other team meetings.
- Collaborate with software development, hardware engineering, field support, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of software test engineering or related experience, or a master’s or advanced degree and at least two years of relevant experience.
- At least three years of programming experience in Python.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git and Bitbucket and experience working with databases.
- Preferred qualifications include C++ programming, software testing and product quality experience, medical-device or ultrasound experience, Linux or Unix test automation, Agile Scrum experience, and knowledge of ISO and FDA documentation and medical-device compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving, attention to detail, organization, documentation, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
