Responsibilities
- Implement and manage IAM systems for user provisioning, authentication, authorisation, and access rights.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and standards aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor IAM systems and access logs, investigate unusual activity, and respond to unauthorised access attempts and security incidents.
- Support access requests, access reviews, identity governance, and entitlement management across technology and business teams.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies on security audits and assessments.
- Explain access requirements, resolve issues, share knowledge, and contribute to a stronger security culture.
- Help shape organisation-wide IAM solutions, processes, and ways of working, with potential responsibility for guiding colleagues.
Requirements
- A few years of experience in IAM roles, including hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise IAM solutions.
- Working knowledge of IAM technologies and protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and multi-factor authentication.
- Understanding of identity governance, access and entitlement management, and privileged access management.
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure Active Directory, SailPoint, or ForgeRock.
- Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CIAM are valuable but not required.
- Understanding of security challenges in a media organisation is valuable but not required.
