Base Salary
$127k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Data Scientists and business stakeholders to align predictive analytics solutions with business objectives.
- Develop, test, implement, and integrate business applications that use machine learning predictions and classifications.
- Refactor model code into maintainable solutions and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Configure, manage, and set up AI/ML infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments using AWS, GCP, and graph databases.
- Perform the full machine learning engineering lifecycle, including analysis, solution design, data pipeline engineering, testing, deployment, scheduling, production support, API development, and application integration.
- Design complex machine learning, artificial intelligence, and GenAI solutions and create proof-of-concepts and prototypes.
- Maintain data development tools and standards, conduct code reviews, and support risk and compliance controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant education and/or experience.
- At least four years of experience in machine learning engineering, data engineering, or software development implementing data solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Java.
- Strong data engineering and data pipeline experience, including data marts, data lakes, and operational analytic applications.
- Experience delivering end-to-end machine learning solutions and applying ML Ops principles through automated workflows.
- Knowledge of data science principles, methodologies, statistical and predictive modeling, and machine learning concepts.
- Strong experience with at least one cloud platform and relevant components such as AWS SageMaker.
- Preferred qualifications include FastAPI, OpenShift, Snowflake, financial services or other regulated-industry experience, mentoring junior developers, technical leadership, and US military experience.
