Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture, implementation, and deployment of resilient microservices and full-stack web applications.
- Build accessible, responsive, and high-performance React user interfaces using TypeScript, Redux, and modern front-end tooling.
- Develop Java and Spring-based back-end services, RESTful APIs, event-driven pipelines, and data persistence layers.
- Design and implement React-based micro front ends and scalable distributed systems.
- Improve application speed, security, resilience, and horizontal scalability through profiling and optimization.
- Drive code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, CI/CD automation, and architectural discussions.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and platform architects, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, libraries, and frameworks to maintain an effective technology stack.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade full-stack web applications.
- Strong Java proficiency and extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot, the Spring ecosystem, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design.
- In-depth React experience with state management such as Redux or Context API and modern front-end build workflows.
- Strong experience building React-based micro front ends.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database design, indexing, and ORM frameworks including Hibernate and JPA.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, concurrency, system design, and security best practices.
- Proven experience with automated testing using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, and React Testing Library, as well as CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to take requirements from concept through production with minimal supervision and demonstrate ownership, problem-solving, maintainability, and clean architecture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
